A new sojourn’s location is set by default to the location specified in the host’s profile. But you can change the sojourn location to anywhere you choose.

The sojourn’s location is shown in the sidebar of the sojourn home page.

The locations of all the sojourns of a Handmeon are shown in the ‘Travels of…’ map in the sidebar of the object’s home page.

Custom Location Names

Edit_location

When you set your location by typing in an address, the address you provide is used to name the location (except for some minor smarts replacing postal codes with town names.)

You can choose a precise map location by using the map scroll and zoom controls to position the map and then clicking to choose a specific point on the map. In this picture, for instance, a spot on the slopes of Mount Fuji in Japan. A text box has opened to allow a custom location name to be provided.

Note that the map zoom level is preserved so that the sojourn location map in the sidebar shows the map zoomed in on Mount Fuji.
